SPHERE

Every act of looking is an exchange. We never truly observe something without being crossed by it in return: our eyes are reflected in the world, and the world is reflected in ours, in a continuous, unending dialogue.
The Sphere works begin as perceptual hemispheres — an eye that gathers light, exploring the shifting nature of perception through three-dimensional choreographies of reflection and transparency. Each piece generates configurations that are never quite the same twice, making any single, definitive image impossible: what appears changes with the point of view, and with the passing of time.

Each Sphere piece is the outcome of a formal study built on balance. Through a long design process, I calibrate with precision the relationships between solid and void, volume, transparency, distance and overlap, until every element in the composition earns its place. Layered plexiglass, mirrored surfaces and exclusive materials come together to build perceptual structures in which nothing is left to chance. Light is never treated as a final effect, but as a material in its own right — one capable of activating the piece and continually redefining its depth, reflections and balance.

The Sphere works are born from the conviction that perception is never absolute — it is always the result of the relationship between what we observe and how we observe it. Each piece questions the very idea of a definitive image, suggesting that reality is not a fixed given but a condition in constant becoming. My work invites a recognition of the value of that instability: what changes is not only what stands before our eyes, but also the gaze we choose to meet it with.
