“Le Mura” originates from a glimpse of the southern walls of Jesi, with a view of the Torrione di Mezzogiorno.
A system once created to define and enclose, now transformed into an open surface, exposed to time and light.
In the painting, the rigidity of the wall structure is interrupted by the organic presence of the tree, which enters the space as an unexpected yet inevitable element.
Architecture and nature do not oppose each other: they balance.
The pictorial matter—layered, vibrant, irregular—builds a surface where time is not linear, but sedimented.
The walls become trace, the tower presence, the vegetation movement.
