Painting - Cuore di Jesi

"Cuore di Jesi" is born from a reinterpretation of the city in its deepest dimension: its historical and identity-driven essence.

The compact structure of the buildings recalls medieval Jesi, enclosed within its walls, built to protect and preserve. The volumes intertwine in a balance that suggests solidity and continuity over time, rather than a precise representation.

The reference to Frederick II — born in Jesi — is implicit: the city becomes a symbol of a past where power, culture, and vision converged. The sky, expansive and textured, introduces a more open and contemporary dimension, creating a contrast with the urban density.

The painting, layered and dynamic, constructs an image that oscillates between presence and memory: not a view, but an emotional synthesis of the place.
